Friday June 16th our transit was from Yellowstone Hot Springs RV Park to a KOA (campground) in Spokane, Washington. Though this was a long drive, we still managed to find a few interesting things to stop and look at!

On our transit there we observed lots of mountains. What was interesting is that some of the mountains were entirely covered by trees but just across from it on the other side of the road the mountain had lots of greenery and sparse trees.

It was also kind of cool to see a sign by the state of Montana that called out for the next X amount of miles on the fence you'll see the names of the different crops being grown.

Are you ready to learn something that will BLOW your mind, mini tornado's like this pictured on the left are called Dust Devils and are fairly common! We've never seen one in our entire life until we saw several pop up along this transit from Montana, across Idaho and into Washington State. It was kind of crazy!
Across most of eastern Washington (state) we had very high winds, and we were in a very tall vehicle. It was kind of intense at times watching how much David had to steer Ellie just to keep us going straight!
We finally arrived at our KOA around 5:30pm, so we ordered a pizza and wings and put up our Core 12 person tent so the boys could crawl around in an enclosed space. Our neighbors that night were incredibly nice, they were also on a month long road trip and from Ohio! She even let DC take a bath in their camper bath tub!!! We were certainly blessed to have met some cool people on this trip!

thanks for taking along on journey
